Nancy graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a BFA in Painting in 1982 and recieved her MFA from Yale University  in 1985. Awards include a Ford Foundation Grant and a Strathmore Paper Award. She has participated in exhibitions in New York and New England including recent solos at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst  and Wagner College in New York City. Nancy has taught classes at various institutions since completing her education, mostly recently since 2006 at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. However, it is in the studio where her passion for being an artist and art-making has thrived.

She currently lives and maintains her studio in Staten Island, NY.
